East Carolina University - Policies

Students who wish to enroll at ECU through the online inter-institutional agreement must provide the required information via the UNC Online form and submit the completed form prior to the published deadline for registration for the term the student wishes to register for.  No requests for late registration will be considered.

Students visiting ECU via UNC Online will be registered for course sections if they have the permission of their home institution and meet all of the registration requirements of East Carolina University.  In addition, students must meet published prerequisites and restrictions for courses and there must be seats available in the courses in order for the University Registrar’s Office to honor these requests for registration.

Elizabeth City State University - Policies

Students who wish to enroll at Elizabeth City State University through the On-Line Inter-Institutional Agreement must complete the required information on the UNC Online form and submit this completed form prior to the published deadline for requesting registration.  No late request will be considered.

UNC Asheville - Policies

  • Student must submit the Inter-Institutional Approval Request form for UNC Asheville by the stated deadline.  If the date falls on a holiday or other non-business day, the application will be accepted on the next business day.
     
    • To take a course in the Fall semester, request must be received by: August 1
       
    • To take a course in the Spring semester, request must be received by: December 1
       
    • To take a course in the Summer term, request must be received by: May 1
  • Student must receive approval from the Registrar at their home institution

UNC Wilmington - Policies

 Students from other universities may attend UNCW as visiting students. The university does not assume responsibility in determining a student’s course selection when such credits are to be transferred elsewhere. The Office of the Registrar will send a transcript of work completed at UNCW to the home institution at the request of the visiting student. Enrollment as a visiting student from another institution in no way obligates the university to continue a student’s enrollment at UNCW at the expiration of the visiting period.

Winston-Salem State University - Policies

Students who wish to enroll at WSSU through the online inter-institutional agreement must fill out the required information in the UNC Online Form and submit this completed form prior to the publish deadline for registration.  No late requests will be considered.

 Registration dates are listed on the academic calendar (http://www.wssu.edu/WSSU/CurrentStudents/Academic+Calendar+2007-09.htm).  All students must register at the beginning of each semester whether they were in attendance the preceding semester or not.  This also applies to students whose schedules include courses that will not begin until mid-semester (blocked courses).  No student will be permitted to register later than the time specified on the calendar.  No student will receive credit for any course or courses for which he/she is not properly registered.
